How Ruletka.me protects people: strictly 18+, block and report in one tap, a limit after several independent reports, a frame check on the device in the browser, and peer-to-peer video with no recording.

Ruletka.me is random video chat and friend calls for adults. One screen asks you to confirm you are 18 and accept the rules. There is no second “I agree” button. If you are under 18, close the page. We do not offer a children’s mode.

What you can do during a call

• Next. Ends this conversation and looks for someone else.
• Blur. Covers their video on your screen. It is local. It is not a server penalty.
• Block and report. Block remembers the person. Report is a separate message to the server, with a reason. A phone report can attach one frame.

Stop returns you to idle and does not search until you start again.

When reports restrict someone

One “I don’t like them” report does not disconnect a person. The server counts different people who reported, not repeated taps from one browser. There is a cap on reports per hour. Stars do not increase the weight of a report.

The limit applies to the browser identity and to the network address of that connection. A burst of reports in a short window shortens the limit, so a pile-on does not become a permanent ban. A permanent ban is an operator action. This is an automatic rule, not a promise that a person watches every call.

Child safety policy: child safety. If someone is clearly under 18, stop and report that reason. For a crime or an immediate threat, contact local police. We are not an emergency service.

The frame check on the device

In the browser you can turn on a local check of the other person’s picture. It runs on your computer. On a hit it blurs, blocks, and sends an ordinary “explicit” report. The recording is not uploaded for that check. On a weak computer and in Safari the check may be off. Your buttons remain.

The Android app does not yet run its own model. The phone does not promise to recognize a violation. Blur, block, and report are the controls you press. “On-device AI” on this page means the browser check, not a claim that the app already filters every bad frame.

What we can see

Live video and audio go directly between devices. We do not record the call. A TURN relay, when used, carries encrypted media and we do not assemble a movie from it.

We see what matching needs: connection time, the browser identifier, the network address, country and city unless Hide IP is on, friend-code relationships, and the text of a report. A report may include one frame you attached. We do not see a password, because there is no password.

We cannot stop a partner from recording their screen, and we cannot promise the site opens on every network. A direct WebRTC connection can show your IP to the other person. Hide IP sends media through a relay and does not publish the country. More on that is on anonymous video chat.

Practical habits

• Do not share a surname, address, school, job, or phone number. Do not show documents or a bank screen.
• Do not follow “continue over there” links, and do not send money or SMS codes.
• If someone asks you to undress, or to involve a child, stop, block, and report.
• A friend call is also 18+. A friend code does not turn this into a family messenger. See video call with no sign-up.

Questions

Is this 18+ only?

Yes. A suspected age problem is a report and a leave.

How do I block or report?

Buttons in the call. Blur is local. Block skips that person later. Report goes to the server.

Do you store the video?

No. One frame exists only inside a report you send.

Does AI already catch violations by itself?

The browser check can blur and report without uploading the video. The Android model is not on yet.
